Planned activities include going museum hopping, hangar flying, learning stuff,
and of course really good stories and bigger and better and friendships. We'll
have a few Venders there too to show off their wares.

The West Coast Piper Cherokee Fly-In was established for anyone that is unable to travel to Lake of the Ozarks to the National Cherokee Pilots Association Convention and Fly-in (see http://cherokeeflyin.com/). This year, we are combining efforts with the Annual Stinson Fly-In at Pearson Field. We’ll be sharing the flightline, flying, events, and aviation fellowship with owners of these classic airplanes, cousins to Piper airplanes. For Stinson flyers: All of the links and messages on this site also apply to you. Our fly-in is meant to be a casual, almost-unstructured event, for the purpose of networking and learning better ways to fly and maintain our airplanes. Although primarily for the benefit of pilots and owners of Piper Cherokees, the fly-in is open to anyone - the more interesting the airplane, the better! Our fly-in is FREE, but we will accept DONATIONS to cover our cost of renting a van, renting the Pearson Air Museum, renting porta-potties, and other expenses. Please DONATE generously, to ensure another fly-in next year. |
